Project Duration: 2016 ‒ present

Project description:

The project has realised within scientific cooperation between Serbia and Russia, particularly between Environmental Physics Laboratory, Institute of Physics Belgrade (EPL, IPB) and Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (FLNPR, JINR, http://www.jinr.ru/main-en/). The aim of the project is development of scientific/educational cooperation between the Parties, which consider using the analytical capacities of JINR regarding neutron activation analysis (NAA) application in environmental pollution (samples: moss/plants, soil, sediments, spider silk, extraterrestrial fraction in the Cretaceous-Paleogene clay, etc.)

Coordinator of the project are: dr Mira Aničić Urošević (Serbia) and Prof. dr Marina V. Frontasyeva (Russia).
